I've finally got the land scaping started. When we got the house, the lot was completely covered with crushed gold granite. The gravel was put in some time during the 70's and hasn't been maintained. It looks really bad. I wanted to put in nice brick walkways to the shed and the "back" yard. But after seeing how much brick I would need and how much it would cost, I decided to recycle as much of the gravel as I could. I think I'm going to be able to use it all.
The next step is a lawn in the back and flowers up front. I've got the shed side done already. there are flowers in there, you just can't see them too well in the pictures.
